Josephine Weeks; died Mar. 30, 1981, Alexandria, Va., at age 79; longtime resident of Alexandria, Va., who was active in the restoration of that city's Old Town neighborhood and the preservation of historic buildings elsewhere; native of Washington; studied at George Washington University and the University of Paris; during the 1920s, she worked for the State Department and the Mexican Claims Commission; married Mangum Weeks in 1930
