La Fontaine, Henri, 1854-1943

Henri La Fontaine (22 April 1854 – 14 May 1943), was a Belgian international lawyer and president of the International Peace Bureau. He received the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1913. With Paul Otlet, founded the International Federation for Information and Documentation (1895) and the Union of International Associations (1907). He was born and died in Brussels.
