Victoria currently leads the Social Impact and Public Policy team at Tumblr focusing on engaging and activating advocacy groups, activists, and other changemakers to tell powerful stories, catalyze engagement with the Tumblr community, and drive measurable impact. In November 2016, Tumblr launched Action on Tumblr, a community dedicated to promoting the voices of the marginalized, giving users a space to connect with each other on the issues that matter to them, and providing them with the tools and resources to move online passion to offline activism. In early January 2018, Tumblr launched the #WhatWillYouDo campaign asking Tumblr users, artists, and activists to use art and storytelling to demonstrate what they want the history books to say about 2018 and how they plan to act to shape that story. Prior to Tumblr, Victoria worked for the Obama Administration in the White House Office of Public Engagement and the Department of Homeland Security Office of Congressional Affairs.

<p> Victoria was inspired to work in the social good space after getting her start organizing voters for then Senator Barack Obama in the 2007-08 presidential election cycle. She then went on to work for the Obama Administration in the White House Office of Public Engagement and the Department of Homeland Security Office of Congressional Affairs. </p>

Victoria McCullough was responsible for the promotion of events across federal agencies and various constituencies. Using Twitter, blogs and other social media, Victoria works to ensure community and organizational leaders participating in events have the online tools and resources needed to connect their communities and memberships to the White House. Victoria is also the liaison to the arts and culture community. Prior to this role, Victoria worked as the Assistant to Jon Carson, the Director of the Office of Public Engagement. Victoria joined the Obama Administration in 2008, working at the Department of Homeland Security in the Offices of Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs and coordinating the Department’s communication with Congress and state and local officials. During her time at the Department, Victoria spent several months on the ground working on the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill response and recovery team. Prior to the Administration, Victoria worked on the 2008 Obama for America campaign. Victoria was born and raised in Tennessee and graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis with a degree in History.
