Robert S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology
Formerly known as the Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology ; founded in 1901 by Robert Singleton Peabody, Phillips Academy Class of 1857 ; Warren K. Moorehead, Douglas S. Byers, Frederick Johnson, and Richard "Scotty" MacNeish served as directors and curators ; A.V. Kidder's excavations in Pecos Valley, New Mexico, are associated with the Peabody.
