Ripley Pierce Bullen; also known as Rip Bullen; born September 21, 1902, Winthrop, Massachusetts; died December 25, 1976, Gainesville, Florida; buried in Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, D.C.; mother: Bessie Louise Bullen; child: Dana Ripley Bullen; Ripley Pierce Bullen was Curator Emeritus at the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida, where he was the Department Chair of Social Sciences for a period of seventeen years (1956–1973).
