<p> NEALE, Samuel, 1729-1792 </p>
<p> b. Nov. 9m 1729 in Dublin, Ireland, son of Thomas and Martha Neale. The parents moved to America but Samuel Stayed with relatives in Cork, Ireland. </p>
<p> c. 1747 he was apprenticed in Dublin to one "T.S." He was physically strong and active, enjoyed going to plays, etc. While in Dublin at this time he was "reached" by the preaching of Katherin Peyton and Mary Peisley. His stubborn spirit was broken. </p>
<p> 1751 First spoke in meeting in Dublin. Next year he accompanied William Brown who had come from America for a visit in the ministry. Recognised a minister. </p>
<p> m. March 17, 1757 Mary Peisley. She died of an acute and sudden illness only three days later. </p>
<p> m. (2d) Sarah Beale in 1760 and they removed to Cork, Ire. </p>
<p> 1770-72 with his wife made a visit to America. Also travelled to Ireland in the ministry. </p>
<p> 1785 accompanied John Pemberton around Ireland and observed his manner with the ignorant peasants who loved him dearly. </p>
<p> 1786 suffered a painful and dangerous illness. He recovered and continued his religious journies. </p>
<p> Feb. 27, 1792 at Cork, in his 63rd year. </p>
