John and Margaret (Brown) Churchman; m., 1752, Hannah, dau. of Mordecai and Gaynor (Lloyd) James; 1750, succeeded his father as clerk of Nottingham Mo. Mtg., for 20 years. Was a pioneer in promotion of schools; edited the Life of Joshua Evans; d. 18 Nov. 1814, West Nottingham, Pa., aged ca. 84.
