Young, published in Harper's McClure's, Collier's, the Atlantic Monthy; moved to New York, 1899, worked on the staff of the New York Evening Post; in 1915, she was hired by the National American Women Suffrage Association's Carrie Chapman Catt to direct the Leslie Bureau of Suffrage Education; created and supervised the Woman Citizen magazine
