<p> b.Feb. 14, 1792 at Moorestown, Burlington County, N.J., son of Joseph and Susanna (Coles) Roberts. </p>
<p> A farmer. </p>
<p> m., Rachel Hunt in 1815. 9 children. </p>
<p> 1827-29 during the difficult period of the Separation among Friends David and Rachel Roberts were firm leaders on the "Orthodox" side of Moorestown. </p>
<p> 1858-61 served as Superintendent of Westtown School. Afterwards became member of Committee for Westtown School. </p>
<p> d. Dec. 9, 1880 at Moorestown, N.J. in his 89th year. </p>
