Maberry, Sue
Sue Maberry (b. 1949, Kansas City, Missouri) graduated from Pitzer College with a major in art. She attended the Feminist Studio Workshop at the Woman's Building 1977-78. She collaborated with many artists and artists' groups and was a co-founder of Sisters of Survival. In 1978 she joined the staff of the Woman's Building and held various administrative positions for the next ten years. Subsequently, she was Program Director at the Armory Center for the Arts (Pasadena) for four years, where she organized activities and events for both children and adults. After Maberry received her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLS) from California State University, San Jose in 1991, she worked briefly as a newspaper librarian at the Los Angeles Daily News until she was hired as Library Director at Otis College of Art and Design in 1992.
