Ware, Henry, 1794-1843

Henry Ware Jr., 1784-1843, born Hingham, Mass. Attended Harvard, assistant teacher at Exeter Academy. Ordained Unitarian minister in 1817 and became pastor of the Second Church of Boston. 1829-1842 professor in the Divinity School at Harvard. His memoir and works were published after his death. Wrote hymns, among them "All Nature's Works His Praise Declare" and "Lift Your Glad Voices in Triumph on High."
