Dora Edinger was born in Berlin in 1890. She studied social work at the University of Heidelberg and lived in Frankfurt am Main, where she taught at the Freies Jüdisches Lehrhaus and was active in the women’s auxillary of the B’nai B’rith and the Jüdischer Fraünbund (Jewish Women’s Federation).
