Philip Eldon Henderson served as president of Western College from 1945 to 1951. He was born on May 23, 1901 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He received an A.B. degree from the University of Colorado. In 1926, he received a M.B.A. degree at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts and also a doctorate degree in Business Administration.
