Cooper, Samuel, 1772-1798
Born in Talbot County, Maryland in 1772, Samuel Cooper studied medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. and then returned to Easton, Md. He later practiced medicine in Philadelphia, where he died during the yellow fever epidemic in 1798. Cooper worked with Samuel Coates, the manager if the Pennsylvania Hospital.
