Samuel Catawba Lowry (died 1864) was a Confederate soldier who served, 1861-1862 and 1863-1864 with the 17th South Carolina Infantry, Confederate States of America, in Virginia and South Carolina. Lowry was wounded at the battle of Second Manassas (Bull Run), 27-28 August 1862, and upon recovery, was discharged from the army for being underage.
