Baker, Gail A.

Gail Baker is on the faculty of the Science Department teaching biology and botany. She received a BS in biology from the University of California, Irvine (1974) and an MS in biology from San Diego State University (1977). Before coming to LCC, she was a research scientist for three universities - University of California, Irvine, University of California, Los Angeles, and Oregon State University; she also taught for six years at North Seattle Community College. She began teaching part-time at LCC in 1986 and became a full-time instructor in 1994; she retired in 2009 although she continues teaching part-time.
