Alumnus and Poultry Science Professor, George H. Arscott, was born in Hilo, Hawaii, in July, 1923. Arscott graduated from Oregon State College with a B.S. in Poultry Husbandry in 1949. After earning a Ph. D in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Maryland in 1953, Arscott returned to OSC that same year to fill the position of Assistant Professor of Poultry Husbandry.
