Muchow, William C., 1922-1991.
William C. Muchow as born in Denver, Colo. in 1922. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy. Muchow was a graduate of the University of Illinois and Cranbrook Academy of Art. He initially worked as an architect for the firm of Walter S. Simon, and Fisher and Fisher in Denver, Colo. before forming his own practice: Muchow Associates Architects in 1950. Muchow's firm designed numerous projects primarily in the Metro-Denver, Colo. area. Notable among these are Currigan Hall (Denver, Colo.), Jefferson County Justice Center (Golden, Colo.), and the expansion and renovation of Denver Center for the Performing Arts (Denver, Colo.). He won a number of awards and was an Elected Fellow of AIA (1968). Muchow was married to Priscilla Williams. He died in 1991.

William Nuchow was born in Bronx, New York, in 1928. He quit school to go to sea and in 1946 was elected to the strike committee of the National Maritime Union. He then worked in steel mills and auto plants in Buffalo, New York, before returning to New York City. There he led the organization of New York City cabbies as an officer of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 826, from 1952 through the taxi strike of 1956.
