Llewelyn Williams (1901-1980) was an economic botanist who specialized in the study of tropical American woods, rainforest products and latex producing plants. From 1926 to 1952, he served as Curator of Economic Botany at the Field Museum in Chicago.

Llewelyn W. Williams was a Welsh economic botanist and wood technologist who specialized in gum- and rubber-producing plants. Williams collected plants in South America, Mexico, Cuba, Thailand and the Philippines. Williams worked at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago from 1926 to 1952 and the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 1961-1967.
