George Norris commanded Sprightly on the British Sealing Voyage (from London), 1825-1826, accompanied by Lively, both of which were owned by the sealing and whaling concern, Enderby Brothers. He rediscovered Bouvetøa on 10 December 1825, naming it Liverpool Island and taking possession for King George IV.
