MacIntosh, Archibald, 1899-

Archibald MacIntosh was a 1921 graduate of Haverford College. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1953. At Haverford, he was appointed director of admissions in 1932, vice president in 1942 and twice acting president in 1945-46 and 1956-57. He retired in 1965. MacIntosh was also an overseer at William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia. He was author of "Behind the Academic Curtain," published in 1948.
