Edward Graham Jefferson was born in London on July 15, 1921, and received his Ph. D. from King's College of the University of London. He was assistant director of the Research & Development Division (1964-1966), director of the Fluorocarbon Division (1966-1969), assistant general manager of the Plastics Dept. (1969-1970), assistant general manager of the Explosives Dept. (1970-1972), assistant general manager of the Polymer Intermediates Dept. (1972), and vice president & general manager of the Film Dept.
