Henry Quincy was the son of Judge Edmund Quincy (1703-1788) and Elizabeth Wendell (1704-1769). He was born 20 January 1726/7 in Boston and died 27 May 1780 at Cambridge, MA. He first married Mary Salter (1725-1754/5) in 1748 with whom he had two children and second to Eunice Newell (1734-1804) in 1759 with whom he had eight children.
