In Jan. 1942, an Army and Navy Committee of the Jewish Welfare Board was organized in Milwaukee, Wis.; the purpose of the Committee was to keep in touch with the Milwaukeeans who served in the armed forces, to coordinate entertainment activities for them, and to give them support.
