Robert Starr Waite (1930-) did interpretive work on parks and also taught Geology and universities in Utah and California.
Robert Starr Waite was born in 1930. Robert Waite was a former Park Naturalist at Zions National Park. He conducted interpertive works at parks. He co-founded the Utah Geographical Society. He has taught Geology at UCLA, University of California, Brigham Young University, Weber Sates and University of Utah. He is known as the father of Great Basin National Park in easter Nevada which was founded on 27 October 1986. He is an advocate of turning the Dinosour National Monument, located in northwestern Colorado and eastern Utah, into a national park.
