Curtis Carroll Davis (1916-1997) of Baltimore, Maryland was a freelance author and critic. He wrote Chronicler of the Cavaliers (1949) and other studies on Dr. William A. Caruthers, a physician from Savannah, Georgia. Caruthers was also the author of Knights of the Golden Horse Shoe.

Lewis Littlepage (1762-1802) attended the College of William and Mary. He went to Europe in 1779 to work for John Jay, minister to Spain. He participated in the Duc de Crillon's campaign against Minorca and in the siege of Gilbralter. He entered the service of Stanislas II, King of Poland. He died in Fredericksburg, Va. 19 July 1802.
