Peinemann, Edith
Biographical notes:
Edith Peinemann (b. 1937) is a German violinist and professor of violin. She made few recordings during her career, making her a "cult figure among violinists." Peinemann is considered one of the world's "finest violinists of her time." Peinemann performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as well as at the Liège September Nights Festival in Belgium, both of which distributed for radio broadcast by the National Association of Educational Broadcasters and the National Federation of Community Broadcasters, respectively.
