Located in the Research Park, it was named after George Morris, founder of Canadian Agrifood Sector.

Built during 1891-1892 for horticultural instruction with attached greenhouses, the Horticulture Building was occupied by the Soils Department in the 1990's. H.L. Hutt was appointed lecturer in horticulture in 1893 and was the first head of the Department of Horticulture. He also developed the first landscape plan for O.A.C.
