Biographical notes:
David H. Plaine's was a churchman, teacher, and a politician in and around Roanoke, Virginia. Jacob Bonsack (1819-1889), was a merchant in Good Intent, Virginia. Harry E. Plaine was a hardware dealer in Broken Bow, Nebraska, during the 1880s.
