Biographical notes:

Ursule Molinaro (1916-2000) was a poet, playwright, and visual artist who moved from France to New York City in 1949 and became a translator at the United Nations in 1951. She taught classes on creative writing at New York University and the University of Hawaii. She began publishing her writing in the 1960s and much of her work focuses on reimagining Greek myths for a contemporary audience. Molinaro died in New York City on July 10, 2000.
