History notes:

William C. Woolfson and Frank Wuttge, Jr. were instrumental in reviving the Bronx Society of Arts and Sciences under its new name, Bronx Society of Science and Letters. Woolfson also founded the Bronx Council on the Arts, served in other public organizations, and taught at various high schools and colleges in the New York City area, including John Jay College and Bronx Community College.
