Phyllis Schlafly was born 15 August 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri. The mother of six, she is an attorney and a conservative political activist. Her biggest platforms have been against equal rights amendments and feminist views. She founded the Eagle Forum and the Eagle Forum Education & Legal Defense Fund in 1972 and remains in the office of their president today.
