Whaling vessel; out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by John A. Beckerman on voyage from 22 June 1869-6 June 1874; owner-agent: Charles S. Randall; built at Mattapoisset, Mass., 1832; formerly known as the Hobomok; renamed Live Oak in 1863; transferred from the merchant service in 1869; sold back for merhant service in 1874.
