An M.A. graduate from the University of British Columbia in 1965, his publications include "Mike, The Memoirs of The Right Honourable Lester B. Pearson"; "One Canada, Memoirs of The Right Honourable John G. Diefenbaker"; "Documents on Canadian External Relations, Vol. 6"; and "The Alaska Boundary Question". A freelance writer/editor, his professional experience included positions as resident historian, Department of External Affairs and founding director, Diefenbaker Centre, University of Saskatchewan.
