Richard N. Hunt was a mining engineer who worked for mining companies who had working mines all over the world. In the United States he worked primarily on the West Coast and in the South. He also worked in Arizona (1920), Denver, Colorado (1956-1959), Ouray, Colorado (1930), Montana (1930, 1959, 1963), and South Dakota (1950s,1965).
