Biographical notes:

Barney B. Greenlee attended the Alaska Agricultural College and School of Mines circa 1932. Later Greenlee worked as both a miner and mining engineer and eventually became the general manager of the Britannia mining operation in British Columbia. Barney Greenlee worked as a miner and a mining engineer before he became general manager of the Britannia mining operation after Anaconda Company (Canada) purchased the mine from New York Howe Sound Company in 1962. He oversaw operations during the 1964 International Union of Mine Mill and Smelter Workers strike.
