Rolland Arthur Busch, A.O., M.B.E., was a Professor of New Testament Studies, Trinity Theological College, 1978-1985, President and Principal of Emmanuel College, University of Queensland, 1961-1978, 1st Moderator of the Queensland Synod of the Uniting Church, President of the Assembly, 1982-1985, Chairman of the Board of Local Missions (Presbyterian Church of Queensland), 1970-1974, Convenor of the Department of Christian Education (Presbyterian Church of Queensland), 1960-1963, and Chaplain-General, 1968-1981.
