Prominent Phoenix businessman.

George Henry Nicholas Luhrs was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1895. His father ran the Commercial Hotel which later became the Luhrs Hotel. The Luhrs family owned and operated several properties in downtown Phoenix from the 1880's until the mid-1970's.
