Winstead, Don, 1927-
Biographical notes:
Don Winstead, born in 1927, attended Forest Hills High School in Jackson, Mississippi, where he played football, baseball, and ran track. He played football for Mississippi State before transferring to Mississippi Southern College (now, University of Southern Mississippi). At USM, he was an outstanding running back and was inducted into the University's Sports Hall of Fame.
