Biographical notes:
Whaling vessel, out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Abner Smith, on voyage from 18 June 1845-2 Sept. 1848, to the North Atlantic, Seychelle Islands, Zanzibar, Mozambique, Channel Islands, South Atlantic, and Ceylon whaling grounds; owner-agent: Ingalls & Lucas; built at Southport, Conn., in 1849.
