David Conner (1792-1856) was a United States naval officer. He served as Navy Commissioner; chief of the Bureau of Construction, Equipment and Repair; commander of the U.S. naval force in the Gulf of Mexico during the war with Mexico; and commandant of the naval base at Philadelphia.
