Variant namesBiographical notes:
Renee Falconetti, born Renee Jeanne Falconetti was an actress of both stage and silent screen. Her only film was The Passion of Joan of Arc . The controversy which surrounds her regards her name. She was billed in the film as Maria, however, research shows Maria and Renee are probably the same actress known to the French theater community as La Falconetti.
