Biographical notes:
Physical Education Librarian, 1966-80
Established in 1949, the Physical Education Library was located in Rooms 104 and 106 of Main Library.Ã? In 1964, the library relocated to Main Library's North wing. In 1975, when the School of Physical Education changed its name to Applied Life Studies, the Library was renamed Applied Life Studies. In 2006, when the College of Applied Life Studies was renamed the College of Applied Health Sciences the Library changed its name to the Applied Health Sciences Library.
Head librarians have included: Physical Education Librarian (1950-66) Mrs. Theo Nelson; Physical Education Librarian (1966-80) Jean Lokke; Applied Life Studies Librarian (1981-82) Jane Armstrong; Acting Applied Life Studies Librarian (1982-84) and Applied Life Studies Librarian (1984-90) Patricia McCandless; Applied Life Studies Librarian (1990-2006) and Applied Health Sciences Librarian (2006-12) Mary Beth Allen.
