Dr Brian Weekes
Biographical notes:
Dr Brian Weekes completed his Ph.D. at the University of Warwick in 1970: The Amalgamated Society of Engineers . Dr Weekes worked in the Industrial Relations Research Unit at Warwick University. In May 1976 he was elected as a Labour member of Warwick District Council. He served as leader of the Labour group from July 1977 until 1981, when he resigned his position after taking up an appointment elsewhere.
