Reynolds I. Nowell (1905-1984) was a Mormon businessman and insurance company executive. He was born in Salt Lake City, and attended school at the Utah State Agricultural College and the University of Illinois. He worked in state and federal government agencies before entering the insurance industry. During his career he rose to be vice president of the Equitable Life Insurance Society, and made presentations at various association meetings.

Reynolds Irwin Nowell was born 14 January 1905 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Irwin Nowell and Josephine Reynolds Nowell. He attended school at the Utah State Agricultural College and the University of Illinois. On 9 August 1928, he married Hannah Cannell in Logan, Utah. He worked in state and federal government agencies before joining the insurance industry. During his career in insurance, he worked as the vice-president of Equitable Life Insurance Society. Reynolds died 10 August 1984 in Forest City, Pennsylvania.
