Biographical notes:

B. 1924; S. D. Served in U.S. Navy during WWII. Graduated from University of Colorado, 1949. Early career spent in journalism as reporter and editor. Involved with environmental and historical preservation organizations, including position of Executive Director of South Platte Area Redevelopment Council and positions with the Colorado Centennial-Bicentennial Commission. Served on the board of directors for RTD (Regional Transportation District, Denver, Colo.). Conducted extensive research on Colorado history and published many articles and books. D. 1989; Denver, Colo.
