The men came from all backgrounds and walks of life, from both the country as well as the city, with their ages mainly ranging from 18 to 40 years. The Regiment saw service in Palestine (Israel), Egypt, Libya, Syria, Papua, New Guinea, Borneo, and Darwin in Australia.
