Van Norden family
Biographical notes:
The progenitor of the Van Norden family in America was Pieter Casparszen Van Naerden who first appeared in the historical record in 1621 with other Huguenots and Walloons petitioning the British ambassador at the Hague for permission to emigrate to Virginia.
