Biographical notes:
Nathaniel Dunn (1823-1907) was born in Cornish, Me. He moved to Enfield, N.C., before the Civil War and bought land on which he raised cotton, peaches, and vegetables. He also operated a lumber business, a lumber mill, and a general merchandise store in Enfield.
