Biographical notes:

George W. Hallock moved from Franklinville (now Laurel), Long Island to Orient, N.Y. in 1871 and with his son Lucius H. established himself as a farm gardener and produce dealer. The farm became widely known as Halyoake Farm. Hallock was a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York State for the Prohibition Party.
